Anthony Chesnaud obtained his Master’s degree in Materials’ Sciences in 2002 at the École Polytechnique de l’Université of Nantes (EPUN). In 2005 he graduated with a doctoral degree in Solid State Chemistry from the University of Nantes. In 2006/2007 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Structure, Propriétés et Modélisation des Solides (SPMS) at École Centrale Paris. Since October 2007 he is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Centre des Matériaux (MAT) at the École Nationale Superieure des Mines de Paris (ENSMP). His expertises are Solid State Chemistry and Complex Impedance Spectoscopy.
He has good experience in the field of solid oxide fuel cells electrolytes either anionic or protonic conductors. He is also working on nanopowders shaping/engineering (conventional and Spark Plasma sintering, tape casting, screen printing). He is self-sufficient with X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmission Electron Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDX), Vibrational Spectroscopies (FT-IR and Raman), complex impedance spectroscopy measurements and Physico-Chemical characterization tools (TGA, DTA, DSC, BET technique, laser granulometry).
