Zeynep Ilhan studied environmental engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara and afterwards received a M.Sc. degree in Energy Conversion Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences in Offenburg, Germany in 2005. Since 2005 she works as a research engineer in the department of Electrochemical Energy Technology at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Stuttgart, Germany. Her specific interest is in electrochemical performance testing of solid oxide fuel cells, their redox and thermal cycling stability.
